| Exceptional Chinese painting on porcelain, consisting of four porcelain tiles, framed with carved wood frame. Signed and sealed by Liu Yu Chun, active ca. 1890-1965, in Jing De Zheng. Fine condition. The artist belonged to Zhu Sha Ba You, a group of eight to ten artists from Jing De Zheng, working towards the end of the Qing dynasty to about 1965. Liu Yu Chun was the last of the group. The group was well known for paintings on porcelain, and this artist specialized in portraying birds, trees and flowers. | ||
