Here is another gold thimble that came from a collector who had been busy for many years searching out unique designs. This Victorian Era Thimble is in fine condition with a pattern of honeycomb dimples on top. There is an unusual band of engraving all around the bottom edge of Flowers that reminds me of Pennsylvanian Dutch Design. Really pretty! Adorable Vintage Pink Pig Match Holder or Toothpick Holder from Germany. Cobalt mark on pig's side is a bit blurry but likely says Germany. Measuring 3" H x approx. 3" W. Excellent all original condition - with no chips, cracks or damage. Colors are a soft pink, orange on his nose and ears, white and moss green. Collectible for a reason- this guy is adorable!
Here is a fabulous compact just out of a Boston Estate. Measuring 2 1/2" W x 2" H x 3/8" D, and just loaded with compartments. First the enamel which is done in 3 sections... A gorgeous creamy white guilloche enamel is the base for the 3 sections with a soft yellow square in the center section. I saw this spoon and thought- how wonderful! Here is a spectacular example of Art Nouveau Silver at it's finest. Unger Brother's at the Turn of the last century created some remarkable flatware, hollow ware and jewelry! The pattern name is Cupid Sunbeams and it was discontinued in 1904.
