Very early primitive bug pin with a great look! It is signed on the reverse STERLING with the initials JP but I don't know who that is. Could be early Mexican, could be early Native American...I am not sure. Beautiful Turquoise Cabochon Stone, its pattern is made more interesting by its brown matrix. Eyes appear to be copper. Fun tisted wire antennae. I have not touched the critter which I bought from a Boston Estate this past summer. Was planning on keeping him longer but I decided he needs ...click for details

Really beautiful early example of Arts and Crafts era jewelry. This vintage pin measures 1 3/4" in W x just over 1/2" H in it's center. It has a really wonderful bezel set cabochon of Labradorite that is partly in its matrix so you see bold flashes of color when the pin is moved. Texture on pin surface has a hand stippled look. Marked on reverse STERLING. All original fine condition. Could just use a cleaning which I will leave to the discretion of the next owner. A wonderful Arts ...click for details
Really beautiful Gothic Cross c. 1930. from Italy. This gem is ornately etched with flowers and leaves and measures 2 3/4" H (includes bail) x 2" W. It has that distinctive medieval refernce that was so evident in this type of Italian jewelry. It probably originally had a chain that had a maker's mark, possibly Peruzzi or Cini, but the only mark I could find is on the back, 800, for the silver content. Save for a good cleaning which I will leave to the next owner's discretion, ...click for details

The band in back is 1/5" W. Heavy weight and great condition save for some minor surface wear which could ...click for details
