Inside the focus is on an intricate set of alternating tooled and smooth rings that appear to weave together harmoniously. So clever and really expertly executed. Unusual William Spratling Design of a stylized eagle within a rectangular base of 980 Silver. I believe this pin to be quite an early piece from Taxco. Measuring 2 1/8" w x 1 5/8" H and marked on the reverse MEXICO 980. Condition is excellent, save for a good cleaning which I will leave to the discretion of the next owner. A more secure clasp has replaced the old c clasp. A great old Spratling Designed pin- perfect for the lover of old Mexican jewelry!

Very early primitive bug pin with a great look! It is signed on the reverse STERLING with the initials JP but I don't know who that is. Could be early Mexican, could be early Native American...I am not sure. Beautiful Turquoise Cabochon Stone, its pattern is made more interesting by its brown matrix. Eyes appear to be copper. Fun tisted wire antennae. I have not touched the critter which I bought from a Boston Estate this past summer. Was planning on keeping him longer but I decided he needs ...click for details

The band in back is 1/5" W. Heavy weight and great condition save for some minor surface wear which could ...click for details

Great pair of early Vintage Los Ballesteros Earrings c. 1950. Their design looks so simple but as you look closer you see how 3 dimensional they really are. The outline is a basic clover shape but instead of the petals being rounded, they curve up and towards the center creating a swirl effect. Each curve ends in a ribbon like cut, adding to the feel of motion. These screwback earrings measure approx. 3/4" in diameter with very nice weight and are in fine condition. Original patina.
