Fabulous Modern ring by one of my favorite Danish designer's, Arne Johansen. His designs are always so striking and are often deceptive in their simplicity. Here is a mid century design with a large silver ball in it's center. The tapering band bends outwardly on each end and appears to catch the sphere. Fabulous Vintage Sterling Silver Georg Jensen Necklace design no. 171 that reminds me of Concave Lemons. FAB Sterling Silver Mid Century Mod Pin w Balls from Finland by the Kupittaan Kulta firm c. 1950's - 1960's. Very nicely proportioned and constructed. Measuring 1 5/8" in diameter with 3 large Balls that seem to bend the pair of Square Wires which run E to W underneath them. Signed on the reverse with Anvil Stamp for Kupittaan Kulta, 925, FINLAND. Terrific Mod Scandanavian Bangle Bracelet c. 1950-60 from Denmark. It is very cleverly formed with 3 Balls as the focus on the one side, joined to round wire, which wraps the wrist and then terminates on the other side as square wire. Really interesting to look at. Inside measurement is approx. 7 1/2"L with an 1/8" opening. There is slight give to open the bangle wider. Nice heavy weight and marked on side of bangle: 925S, STERLING, S. BL, 46, DENMARK, JBH. Great Mid Century Design by E. Granit company of Helsinki, Finland. Three tiers of circles form a floral design and sit atop this sculptural ring. Nice lines from all angles. Front measures 5/8" W x 5/8" L and sits 1/4" off the shank. Approx. Size 6 1/2-7 but has an adjustable shank.
