Here is a most unusual silver thimble that came from a collector who had been busy for many years searching out unique designs. This intricate vintage thimble is done in 800 Silver and is decorated with 5 small pave` set red coral stones around it's rim. Delicate silver ribbons alternate with the coral. There is a flower pattern on the top of the thimble. Marked 800 on the outside. Stands 3/4" H and measures 5/8" across the base. Here is another unusual silver thimble that came from a collector who had been busy for many years searching out unique designs. This 1920's-30's era thimble is done in 935 Silver with charming painted enamel scenes in a band all the way around. The design is of windmills and boats on the water. Colors are Blue & White. What a collection! These all came from one estate, collected over many years. The majority of these thimbles are old Bone China, English. Some Irish, West German, German, Dutch and French, American. Spode, Limoges, Royal Doulton, Royal Winton, Coalport, Chintz patterns, majority signed by some company or another - all floral! Roughly 3/4 of the thimbles have gold accents.
