| Great pair of early Vintage Los Ballesteros Earrings c. 1950. Their design looks so simple but as you look closer you see how 3 dimensional they really are. The outline is a basic clover shape but instead of the petals being rounded, they curve up and towards the center creating a swirl effect. Each curve ends in a ribbon like cut, adding to the feel of motion. These screwback earrings measure approx. 3/4" in diameter with very nice weight and are in fine condition. Original patina. Marked clearly on the reverse of earring: TALLER DE LOS BALLESTEROS, TAXCO, a Stylized B, (design #) 17, STERLING 925. Would make a wonderful addition to any designer Mexican Collection! | ||
