| A wonderful early example of modernist silver by Mid Century Boston Designer John Lewis. Since 1955 John Lewis has been creating unusual organic jewelry. Recently I purchased it from it's original owner who wore it c. 1970's. Ring is a depiction of a piece textured Coral. Organic, sculptural, and really striking on. Front measures 13/16" W x 1 1/8" H. Ring has nice weight too! A size 7 1/4 at present but back is open so adjustable. Marked appropriately with JL hallmark - crossed hockey sticks, and STERLING.
