| Fabulous recent find! Being offered is a stunning example of 1940's era jewelry created in Sterling Silver- a Double Heart Pin by the Hobe` Company. The handling of the silver here is quite impressive! Flowers, Bows, Leaves and Tendrils all frame the two bezel set Blue Topaz hearts in the center! I think these are likely crystal or glass but I am not sure as they look very real! Bright and sparkly! The pin measures 2 3/4" W x 1 5/8" H and has nice weight. Aside from the pin stem being a little bent, this pin is in excellent vintage condition. I have left this pin in its original condition. It has a rich dark patina that I will leave to the discretion of the next owner. I know it would look even more spectacular with a bit of polish. Unsigned with no markings but Pin has been tested and is Sterling Silver. A fabulous design by the Hobe firm! | ||
