A WWI French helmet inkwell made of painted tin and with the original glass inkwell reservoir and chinstrap. Painted the traditional blue grey of the french artillery helmet and with a battle commemorative, Carentan in brass across the visor. These were among the many souveniers produced by the French, both to raise money during the war as well as after.
