| A very attractive Japanese, Golden Era cloisonne cigarette case with a blue, writhing dragon against a white field. The interior is enameled in blue to create a complete statement. The brass or bronze case was originally silvered but that has worn away on the contact surfaces. While there is only minor cracking and mini chips from use, it seems that moisture has entered at the seams and created some discoloration at the edges. The elastic bands that retain the cigarettes in place are missing. A very seldom encountered piece of Golden Era cloisonne. Approximately 3.5" by 4.75". | |||||||
