Chinese, Late Qing Dynasty Cloisonne Jar.

A good example of a hand made Chinese cloisonne jar. The classic enamel decoration is characteristic of the period found in the late 19th C thru the early 20th C. The pin holes in the enamel are also characteristic of this and earlier period, Close examination of the wire cells further reflect a hand made process. The interior counter enamel is light blue and has a rough finish further suggesting late 19th C construction. the lid is original to the jar. Over all condition is very good with only one tiny loss in the petal of one flower. Height 7.6: x 4".
