| Pair of Chinese carved ivories; Emperor and Empress, each standing: Emperor in dragon robes, wearing dragon crown, ink-incised details to his rob and crown, wearing beads and carrying a sword, signed; Empress in phoenix robes and headdress and holding a ruyi scepter, signed. Measurements: Height of each figure is approximately 12 1/2 inches. Condition Report: Emperor carvings in perfect condition, Empress's tip of pinky finger is glued and minor chip to the end of tassel otherwise problem free. | |||||||||||||||
