Pair of American coin silver open salts by Robert and William Wilson, working in Philadelphia, PA. Circa 1825. Each salt is decorated with a gadrooned rim and is supported by three hoof feet. An unusual majolica pottery basket with a molded woven wicker design to the exterior, Greek key variant border, and ribbon wrapped bamboo form handle. The pink interior with some crazing to the glaze. Unmarked. Condition: Excellent with no chips, cracks, or repairs; only some crazing to the glaze. Size: 10 inches long x 5.75 inches deep x 7 inches high.

Excelsior mechanical cast iron bank with wooden monkey cashier by Hall. Patented in 1869 as the first mechanical cast iron bank. Wooden monkey cashier pops up from cupola to receive coin and then deposits it into the bank. It is unusual to find these banks with the monkey still intact. Retaining most of the original painted surface. Size: 5 inches ht. x 4 inches x 3 .75 inches.

Scottish three-piece sterling silver tea service, Edinburgh. 1824-25. Maker's mark CB. Weight: 49.8 troy ounces. A rare set of compressed globular form resting on round, stepped pedestal bases. The gadrooned bodies are accented with decorative acanthus rims and handles, and the open sugar bowl and milk jug retain an original gilt wash to their interiors. No monograms or erasures.
