Concert 8 Model upright piano by C. Bechstein, Berlin, Germany. Serial No. 187433. Beautiful rosewood, with burl. Dimensions: 131 cms. ht. x 154 cms. width x 62 cms. depth. Purchased in 2002 (manufactured in 2000). Condition: wonderful playing condition, with a beautiful tone; chip to the block beneath the lowest E key of the keyboard (see photos), and some minor blemishes on the left end. Rare carriage clock by the Vermont Clock Co., Fair Haven, VT. Brass case with beveled glass panels on all sides and carrying handle. 8-day movement with engine turned, decorated steel back plate. Rectangular porcelain dial with Roman numerals in black and minute divisions. Condition: excellent running condition; minor chip to porcelain at top left corner of dial (barely noticeable when viewed from the front view). Size: 6 inches ht. with handle extended x 3 inches wide x 2 5/8 inches deep.
