A rare Scottish dirk adorned with sterling silver mounts engraved with a Celtic interlaced design. The handle grip is carved from dark wood with an woven pattern and set with a large yellow, faceted Cairngorm as the pommel. Edinburgh, 1905-06, by Young and Tattan. This dirk is complete with its leather sheath containing a two-tine steel fork and smaller knife mounted in a similar fashion with Cairngorm pommels.
