A tilt-top Chippendale style tea table in mahogany, with pie crust, dish top supported on an acanthus decorated turned pedestal, with a tripod base ending in claw and ball feet. Circa 1920-1930s. Set of four Wedgwood semi-porcelain dinner plates in the Shell and Seaweed pattern, with date code for 1927. Decorated with both traditional conch and spider conch motifs and with various species of seaweed. Size: 10" diameter. Excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. One half of the top hinges upward to reveal a liquor compartment fitted for bottles, while in the other half one of the front side panels opens outward for storage.
