| Double bladed and hinged Georgian fish knife server, sterling silver, London, 1800, by silversmith John Sheketon. Old English pattern with thread decoration to the hollow silver handle. Matching hallmarks on both blades and also on the handle. Excellent condition, with some minor bruising to the handle end. Hand pierced decoration to the top hinged blade. Size: 11.75" length. Double bladed fish servers like this example are scarce and act like a pair of tongs in holding the fish as it is served. | ||
