Francisco Rebajes. Pendant and chain, from the artist's "Brazilian Masks" series, the pendant 2 1/4" diameter, the chain approximately 18" long, the clasp on the chain signed "Rebajes." The pendant is copper and shows superficial wear (short, shallow scratches) only. The copper-coated chain shows similar slight wear (rubbing and dulling) and, in a few places, wear to the links revealing the silvered-metal (steel or some other alloy) substrate. BETO STERLING SILVER AND STONE EARRINGS. Beto sterling silver and stone earrings, 1" high, 11/8" wide, screw backs, the reverse of one earring with impressed "Beto" (another mark or marks largely effaced, the last three letters of "Sterling" legible. The slight pitting to the stone inlay here is to our eye endemic to it. Fine condition. The stone is apparently a combination of azurite, turquoise and lapis. Probably, a work from the 1950s.
