A Camphor Wood Tray In The Shaped Of Twin-Lotus Flower

The Lotus has many different meanings in the Chinese culture. It is one of the symbols of the Eight Treasures of Buddhism, a symbol of purity and perfection, incorruptible. It also represents summer, and productivity. Twin-lotus flowers have a special implied meaning to lovers whom will be together forever and never part, just like the twin-lotus flower buds blooming from one axis.

The condition of this tray is excellent, apart of few minor old crack lines, and a minor dent on the tray surface.

The tray looks like it used to be fully covered with burgundy lacquer, as it still has some left around the rim.
