SOLD 

A William and Mary kneehole desk with a burl walnut, herringbone and cross-banded veneer top and a total of 8 drawers, with one drawer above a small document drawer and six graduated drawers on each side. Old brasses probably of a later selection, and a central interior cabinet opening outwards. Includes original locks and one key. Straight bracket feet. 29 1/2" X 31" X 16 1/2".

SOLD 

An important and rare carved and open topped wine cooler. This features an opened staved oval shaped tub, 27" X 18" supported by a dark, Cuban mahogany base with carved cabriolet legs with hairy paw feet. This is the first this dealer has seen with carved feet of this quality. Stands 27 1/2" in height. Probably second half of the 1700s.

A handy, useful four drawer cabinet of late Victorian times. The four drawer cabinet features solid mahogany and mahogany veneers. The four drawers are cockbead molded with press brass pulls (probably not original) and graduated in size. About 30" in height

English solid elm three legged stool, 18th or 19th century. These stools at first seem uncomfortable, but we find them quite pleasant despite the low level of the seat. Many are now used as end tables next to a easy chair as a rest for their magazines or cold drinks. 13 1/2" X 15 1/2" X 10".

A George IV mahogany English Pembroke table with fine color and patination, featuring a solid mahogany top of exceptional grain matching and satinwood stringing and inlay throughout. Taper squared legs with brass casters. Takes an oval shape of 38.5" wide and 30" deep, and with the casters, stands 28.25". One false drawer, both with brass pulls. Circa 1790-1810.

A early 18th century gate leg table. The oval top measures 56" X 41 1/2" (28" high). Wonderful nearly 300 year old solid oak surface. Repairs and to the underside alignment of top to base and top and reduction of height from the ball feet of about 1".

A solid mahogany 19th century English commode, with two drawers over three. A pleasing one-piece mahogany top bordered by molding, the drawers with cockbead molding, and standing on taller bracket feet. Since holes in the chest drawers conform closely with previously drilled holes, we feel the brasses are replacements, though very much like the originals.
