Pair of beaded Native American moccasins in white deerskin. Beads in geometric line patterns of white, black and orange with metal folded "tassels" that are attached in a line down the front that may have been included to make a bell sound when moved. Two hand sewn Egyptian revival textile tapestry like wall hangings, each about 20" X 52". The subdued colors of blues, reds, greens, browns, whites and black have faded with age, now looking like those thousands of years old tomb decorations. The 1920s revival of Egyptian interest was not the first in decorative arts, although we think that's when these originated. A pair of bead decorated moccasins in sewn deerskin leather, 10" in length. These have outstanding bead decoration, featuring white, blue, red and green roses patterns. Excellent condition, mid 20th century.
