An early 19th century decanter box with an especially fine presentation. The inside is inlaid with stringing, stars and a shell; while the outside is even more elaborate, with stringing throughout. Original lock. While there may have been three decanters, there is now only one, a cut glass leaded type, cut decorated and with a fitted stopper. Some restorations to damaged outside inlay. English, ca 1800-1810. RL*
