| One of the best "style" pieces we have seen, a nineteenth century clock blessed with both superb quality castings and a splendid presence. Standing 21" in height (and 13" X 7") superbly cast case features an engraved bronze dial mounted with porcelain Roman numeral cartouches. The movement is stamped on the backplate "LEROY ET FILS", probably for Charles LeRoy, the Parisian maker active in 1808 and after and who signed his clocks this way. The photo shows the clock in its as found condition. The pendulum is possibly replaced, and one side glass is repaired. | |||||
