RESERVE LOWERED ,P.A rare find indeed. This vase is most certainly Quing (Qing) Dynasty,(Bill, I'm a slow learner) all that have given their opinions agree on that. It stands 14" high with a base of 5.5". The mouth with symbols of the Three Abundances on the inner lips is 6.25" across. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

This elegant set was bought by me 28 years ago. It originally came from an estate from Long Island, New York. I bought it from " Madges" in Daytona. (Allendale). We have used the set over the years and have had great enjoyment from it. This set is service for 12 although only 11 people can have coffee , 11 can have soup and since some one is always on a diet only 11 can have dessert.

This is a great find for both the collector of Match holders and Firefighting Collectibles. The story I got was the parents had got it at the Columbia Expo. In 1893. Look carefully at the Pictures and you"ll see it was an advertising give away from the E & L Insurance Company in Chicago.
