Army Air Force Navigator Wings Authorized on 4 September 1942.The Navigator rating was awarded to graduates of the AAF aerial navigation course. The wings surround a Armillary Sphere. Which is an ancient Astronomical device. Not marked on the back and although these are from a WW2 AAF vets estate I don't believe that these are vintage.
These wings were 1st authorized on 10 November 1941. From the information that we have on these United States Air Force we believe them to be World War 2 era. Marked L-22
