It is a piece of Carnelian which was kept in natural form without any carving. Black, yellow, white, gray and blue colors could be seen on the surface. The natural formed body is charming and dramatic. From such a small piece, you can even see a great complex “world”. It is a really good collection for scholars. Good condition. A powerful glazed pottery lion was handcrafted by the rural potter. Intriguingly molded in a simple and elegant form, the lion stands on his feet in a strong way. Probably a decoration piece for scholars. this small lion still can be a joyful addition in your collecting fantasy. Obvious crackles were yielded on the surface due to age. Date: Jin Dynasty (3-5th Century) or even earlier. Height: 2 5/8 in. Good Condition.
It is a very rare scholar collection--Ganoderma Lucidum. That was carved based on its natural form--a big monkey with her baby on her back.

One of the necessary calligraphy tools on the Chinese scholar’s table was a small container to hold water and drip it onto the ink-stone for the purpose of mixing the ground ink. This is a very rare and highly desirable water dropper with clear glaze and described as an owl. It is in good condition. Some wear and tear by the age. 4/5th C. High: 3 3/4in.
The nice Chinese scholar’s brush pot made out of natural trunk wood with burls. Beautiful and natural pattern of swirling clouds on wood surface, superb wear and patina. Wonderful object in scholar’s taste, very pleasant to the touch. Width 4 inches, height 5 inches.
