| Fine L&JG Stickley 5 drawer chest of drawers consisting of 2 half drawers over 3 full drawers measuring 34 W by 20 D by 42 H with the curved gallery adding an additional l 3/4 max. to the height. The chest has a wonderful look with paneled sides and an Ellis inspired upward curve to the lower kick panel and a corresponding upward curve to the gallery. The piece retains its original finish and is as solid as the day it was made. The piece is signed with the 1907-1912 Handcraft shop mark on the inner top right drawer as shown. There is a similar model in the 6 drawer form for sale out of a high end NY gallery for $4900. | |
