| Signed Val St. Lambert, Belgium Depose, sky blue cut to clear vase/covered urn. Great hunt scene replete with a Buck Deer, Pheasant, Grouse, and underbrush. The Deer and fowl have amazing detail. The Deers fur, muscles, and antlers are well done and have a lifelike appearance. There is a Buck on both sides of the piece. An inordinate amount of detail and work involved in this piece. It is a gorgeous sky blue cut to clear. There are no chips, cracks or repairs with the only metion being some expected shelf abbraision to the bottom of foot. Signed with a Val St. Lambert sticker affixed to the bottom of the foot dating this piece to the late 19th Century. A great asset to the collector of VSL, European Art Glass or Art Glass in general. Stands 8 1/2" tall to the top of the multi facet jewel cut finial. | |
