| I have been searching for a superlative example of an early large Roseville Blue Pinecone vase for years but they always seem to have pops or other manufacturing glaze flaws or a myriad of post production maladies. This great piece is 100% mint with no pops or any other glaze flaws, cracks, chips or repairs which is extraordinary for such a large piece. The blue is dark and the mold is perfect. The vase measures 11 ½ high to the top of the branch handles and 8 inches at the widest. The vase is marked with the early Roseville silver label on the side and impressed Roseville markings on the bottom. The history on the pot is that it has been boxed at the top of an elderly ladies bedroom closet since purchased new for her as a gift in the mid 30's. She supposedly was not fond of the color or subject matter being a painted flower lover - how time has changed peoples desires. This is truly a rare collector piece that as I described only comes along every so often and has everything going for it including color, mold, year and the large rising branch handles.
