| Early 21st century woodcut titled "Highland Light" and signed by Albert Edel 1890 – 1961). Edel was part of the Cape Cod scene. He was born in France in 1890 and showed in Provincetown from 1920 to 1940 owning the Edel Gallery in Provincetown. Albert was married to the well known Cape Cod Wood Block artist Stella Edel. Hi focal point was marine genre. The woodcut height is 3 7/8" high by 4 7/8" long with a frame size of 9 1/2" high by 11 1/2" long. The piece is in excellent condition in it's original frame. | |
