| Limbert model 253 double Umbrella Stand in excellent original condition. Hard to believe this guy has survived this well over 90 years or so with so little use. The stand is much better constructed than the stands of other top makers of the period being made of all quartered oak, having pyramid topped posts, corbels at the corners, doweled joints, and the original hand wrought copper drip pan. The piece measures 28" high by 17" wide by 9" deep. Shown on page 124 of the guide "Limbert Furniture" published by Turn of the Century Editions. | |
