This unusual Yixing box appears to be a painter's pot, with sections in the base for two colors and nine small sections in the lid for small amounts of more colors. Its base seal seems to read Yunshan fuzi. There are two incised inscriptions on the sides in addition to the leafy spray and bare branch. The lid has a plum spray. Decorated in underglaze blue with a dragon amid clouds, this Chinese plate dates to the early 19th century. It measures 23cm or 9 inches in diameter. The base is unglazed. Despite its resemblance to Korean porcelain, this definitely is a Chinese object.

This model of Samantabhadra or Fugen seated on an elephant dates to c. 1900-1930. It was mounted on an elaborate gilded wood lotus lamp base, available if the buyer wants it. The figure has a finely crackled clear glaze and is undamaged. It was mounted through a hole in the base original to the piece. It measures 33.3cm high X 30cm wide, or 13 inches X 12 inches.

Signed Chu Ching and dated July 1860, this painting on paper depicts men enjoying scholarly pursuits in a nighttime garden. It is framed but not glazed. Measurements are 55cm high X 110cm wide image, or 60cm high X 115.3cm wide overall including frame. There are old horizontal abrasions above the figures. This painting has been mounted on some type of board and cannot be rolled for shipment.

Representing two peaches, a citron, an apple and a pomelo, this group of pottery fruit date to the early 20th century. One is marked Eastern Jade and one has the remnants of a Chinese export seal from the 1970's. They measure 8.5cm, 8cm, 8cm, 7.8cm and 6cm high, or 3 1/4 inches to 2 1/4 inches. Two have small chips to the leaves.

This 17th century cloisonné vase is modeled as an archaistic bronze gu. The blue ground has lotus scrolls in red, white, dark blue and green enamels, as well as leaf bands extending from the center. It measures 15.2cm high X 8cm at the mouth, or 6 inches X 3.25 inches. There are losses and damage to the enamels below the rim and pitting overall.

This box with domed lid has a yellow enamel ground over lightly incised scrolls, with a shou character surrounded by five bats and pomegranate, peach and citron sprays in famille-rose enamels. The fruiting sprays are repeated on the base. There is a Qianlong mark on the base and the interior has a turquoise blue wash. Dating to about 1750, this export porcelain plate has underglaze blue lotus, chrysanthemum and plum sprays within a border of bamboo and floral sprays. The rim has a brown wash, and the exterior has two sketchy floral sprays. Dimensions are 27.6cm diameter. No damage.

An early Kyoto pottery lidded squat baluster jar with underglaze cobalt-blue landscapes. This jar dates to the last half of the 18th century and measures 10cm high X 14cm diameter, or 4" high X 5 1/2" diameter. It has one chip to the rim 1cm wide and numerous small chips to the lid's rim. The staining on the lower section of one side can be removed, but to do so would alter the whole piece's appearance. It was sold by Yamanaka Co.'s branch before 1942 in New York

This Chinese silk kesi rank badge probably depicts a sixth civil rank egret. It dates to about 1875. It had modern brocade borders and backing applied sometime within the past 20 years. The overall condition is good, with no tears, splits or losses, but slight fading overall. Some details were painted rather than woven. Measurements are 33.8cm X 33.8cm or 13 1/4 inches X 13 1/4 inches.
