This model of Samantabhadra or Fugen seated on an elephant dates to c. 1900-1930. It was mounted on an elaborate gilded wood lotus lamp base, available if the buyer wants it. The figure has a finely crackled clear glaze and is undamaged. It was mounted through a hole in the base original to the piece. It measures 33.3cm high X 30cm wide, or 13 inches X 12 inches.

A Japanese silver box on 4 stepped feet engraved with fine diamond patterns, circa 1935. This box has a rosewood liner strongly resembling zitan, a solid silver hinged lid, and is marked Silver and with a star mark. It measures 4.5cm H X 17.5cm W X 12cm D. It comes from a private Pacific Northwest collection, collected in Japan when new.
A Japanese silver box with black lacquer liner and a finely inlaid iron lid, circa 1930. The two colors of gold and silver inlay depict the Golden Pavilion in Kyoto. The base is marked ginsei (silver made), indicating that the silver content is higher than sterling. It measures 5.2cm H X 14cm L X 10.1cm W or 2" X 5.5" X 4". There is a tiny dent to the rim, as shown, and tiny areas of rust along the lower right corner.
