Measuring 12cm or 4 3/4" high, it bears a crackled glaze over vertical rows of iron-black dots divided by bands of cobalt-blue. The glaze has small areas of iridescence from burial. It has an unusual provenance: Max Loehr, an important scholar of Chinese bronzes. There is a repaired rim chip.
