| This Tibetan tanka, now framed, is painted in colors on cloth and depicts Marici in a cart being pulled by seven pigs. It measures 45cm high X 36cm wide for the image and 67.5cm high x 58.5cm wide overall to include the frame. There is surface soiling and oxidization to the pigments and two small surface scratches. It dates to the 18th century. It is one of a number of items from an estate being sold to benefit the Seattle Art Museum. | ||
