| This 24 pound bronze swivel cannon is the type usually called a lantaka. These small cannon were made in various parts of Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, supposedly for anti-pirate use. This model has a 7/8 inch bore and measures 28 3/4 inches long. It has an old stand, no doubt somewhat newer than the cannon itself. Low relief ornamentation and the nice old patina can be seen in closeup images. | ||
