| Beautiful marine watercolor by William Frederick Paskell, American 1866-1951. Approximately 9 1/2" X 29" WITHOUT the frame. With the frame and matting it measures 16 1/2" x 36". Signed lower left Wm. Paskell. This painting has beautiful sunset colors as you can see by the photos. William Frederick Paskell was born in England on Oct. 5, 1866. He studied in Boston MA under JF DeBlois & Sanderson. He exhibited at the Boston Art Club & the Charitable Mechanics Association in Boston, 1884-1906. He worked in Cape Ann, Nantucket and New Hampshire. He travelled to Europe in the late 1880's. Died in Boston MA in 1951. He is well listed in Who's Who and Fieldings. Very good condition. | |||||
