| Wonderful oil on board of chickens and ducks by Belgian artist, Francois (Franz) Van Severdonck, c.1809-1889. Approximately 14 1/4" x 18 1/2" WITH the frame. WITHOUT the frame it measures 8 1/2" x 12 3/4". Signed lower left. On the back there is a gallery lable which is written in Dutch. The Gallery is DE KUNSTKAMER. I believe the frame is not original to the painting but it is very nice and brings out the beauty of this painting. The board is old mahogany and is in good condition with a few small retouches that show under a black light. | ||||||||||||
