| Wonderful watercolor painting of The Tunker from Tom Tiddler's Ground. Signed left center "Kyd". "Kyd" was the name used by Joseph Clayton Clark. Clark was a British artist who knew Charles Dickens and did drawings for Dickens' books. He also painted at the Royal Academy during the 19th century. He died in 1885. Without the frame it measures 7" x 4 3/4". With the frame it measures 15 3/4" x 12 3/4". Very good condition. There is a lable on the back that reads Custom framed by Marks, Jacksonville FL. I believe it was reframed in Florida at a later date. | ||
