| Wonderful large coin silver Bigelow & Kennard sugar & creamer. c.pre 1865. Approximately 8 3/4" high (sugar) and 8 1/2" tall (creamer)and 25 troy ounces. Monogrammed ELG with a family crest of a bird (woodpecker?) and a tree. Urn finial, beautiful beading at each section and a design like the Greek key. Marks include Bigelow Bros. & Kennard, Boston, and Coin. It also has a bullet mark that you will find on many coin silver pieces. Very good condition. The top of the handle of the creamer has a dent that you don't even notice unless you run your finger over it. Considering the age I would say it is in wonderful condition. | |||||||||||
