| For sale is a gorgeous sterling silver repousse basket with handle by Tiffany & Company. Approximately 12 1/2" wide x 9" deep and 4 3/4" high WITHOUT the handle. WITH the opened handle it measures 11" high. It weighs 30.53 troy ounces. Presentation mark on inside pedestal, "FROM HARRY AND ELLA APRIL 26, 1876". This is one of the finest Tiffany repousse baskets I've seen. It is decorated with grapes & vines and leaves. There are 3 cartouches that are not monogrammed. One is on the handle and the other 2 on either side of the top. The swing handle is in very good condition. This basket is in wonderful estate condition with no dents or repairs. Marks include TIFFANY & Co, 4347 MAKERS 2360, STERLING SILVER, 925-1000, M. The capital M was used by Tiffany & Company between the years of 1875-91.
