| Gorgeous aesthetic Tiffany sterling silver large salver or 4 footed tray. Approximately 17 3/4" x 11 1/2" and 2 1/2" at highest point. This beautiful and unusual piece of Tiffany silver weighs 34.20 troy oz. Script monogram, see photos. 4 feet. This fantastic tray is the finest tray I've eveer seen. Decorated with repousee poppies in full bloom with scrolling vines in the center. Surrounding the monogrammed cartouche is a ribbon with a pair of doves at the top. I have not in 25 years ever seen this pattern. Marks include TIFFANY & Co, 1465 MAKERS 3664, STERLING SILVER, 925-1000, C. This mark was used between 1902-07. Very good condition. The bird on the right is not as crisp as the left. It possibly had a repair at some time but still is the finest Tiffany tray I've ever seen weighing over 2 pounds. | |||||||||||||||
