English saltglaze relief molded jug by Charles Meigh. Decorated with Bacchanalian figures dancing in very deep relief. Naturalistic grapes and vines throughout the shoulder, spout and handle. Cast registration mark of Charles Meigh, Sept. 30, 1844 on bottom in blue. 11.25 inches tall in good condition.
