Wonderful Hungarian dinner plate in the famous "Victoria" pattern by the Herend Porcelain Company, circa 1860. This is one of many pieces that was part of the George Ware Collection. George Ware worked as an agricultural and educational adviser in the American Zone of Germany following World War II. A wonderful R.S. Prussia cake plate with the "Melon Eaters" as the pattern. Colors are extremely vivid with the blown out design in the shamrock border. No cracks, repairs or nicks. This plate is in excellent condition. From handle to handle it measures 10 1/4".

Meissen inkwell with sander on a large tray. Decorated with hand painted flowers. This style was made in two sizes, large and small. This is the large size that measures 11" by 7 1/2". The inkwell and sander measures approximately 3 1/2" tall by 4 1/2" in diameter. The tray is perfect. The inkwell and sander have minor nicks around the edges. This set was used.
