English sterling flatware made by Fletcher of London for Spaulding & Co., Chicago. This set was purchased in Chicago a number of years ago and was rarely used. It is service for 12 with 7 pieces in each place setting and 11 serving pieces. This silver is completely hand forged in a traditional 18th style currently known as "Irish Rib.
Sterling compote by Wallace Silver Company in the Grand Baroque pattern. Excellent condition standing 5 inches tall by 6 3/4 inches in diameter. Weight:7 troy ozs.
Beautiful green glass vase made by Paden City Glass Manufacturing Company in Paden City, West Virginia. A company known for it's great colored glass during the 20's and early 30's. The vase stands 12 inches tall and is etched with the "California Poppy" pattern that was first introduced in 1929. Condition is excellent.
Wonderful Art Deco vase decorated in gold with a cobalt blue band surrounding two stylized birds done in lavender and green outlined in gold. It stands 8" tall and appears to be in excellent condition but when you look inside you see a "Y" hairline crack from the top edge downward. You have to really look hard to see it from the outside but it has been there a long time and it has discolored the crack on the inside. Wonderful Art Nouveau plate hand decorated by Gustav Weissflog for the Stouffer Decorated Co. The pattern is the "Violet" pattern with lovely vine trails spreading out from the center. It measures 8 1/2" in diameter and is in excellent condition. The plate is a Limoges blank from the Gerard, Dufraisseix and Abbot firm, circa 1920. Weissflog worked for Pickard in his later years.
Wonderful little hand painted dish decorated in the "Twin Poppy" pattern and signed FN. I am assuming it was done by Frank Nittel as he worked for Pickard for about five years and this was one of the company patterns. Condition is excellent with some tiny scratches to the wide gold band. The dish measures 6" in diameter.
Artist signed candy dish with upswept perforated handles decorated in the "Calla Lily" pattern by Arthur Passoni. He worked for the company from 1908 to 1917. The design is quite beautiful combining both gold and silver background color. It is signed with his initials, HP. It measures 5 1/4" in diameter, from handle to handle is 6" and it is 3" high. Condition is excellent.
A charming little dish with cut out handles in the "Fruitbasket" pattern. The dish is not artist signed but certainly decorated either by Ester Samuelson, or Ingeborg Kline. The condition is excellent and measures 4 3/4" by 5 3/8" and 1 1/8" high.
Third black mark Belleek large spill vase (D203) in the "Lily of the Valley" pattern. Excellent condition with a gold luster band around the outside center and inside of the rim, 6" tall.
Charming figural grouping of a young girl and boy courting surrounded by a duck with two young ducklings. Made by the Volkstedt German Factory after 1915. The back of the figurine was purposely made to accommodate a lamp base for a boudoir lamp. It was never a lamp that I can tell. Condition is good with some minor nicks to the greenery. Height is 6 1/4". The base is 3 1/4" by 4 1/4".
