$200.00 AS IS CONDITION

Wonderful Art Deco vase decorated in gold with a cobalt blue band surrounding two stylized birds done in lavender and green outlined in gold. It stands 8" tall and appears to be in excellent condition but when you look inside you see a "Y" hairline crack from the top edge downward. You have to really look hard to see it from the outside but it has been there a long time and it has discolored the crack on the inside. Charming figural grouping of a young girl and boy courting surrounded by a duck with two young ducklings. Made by the Volkstedt German Factory after 1915. The back of the figurine was purposely made to accommodate a lamp base for a boudoir lamp. It was never a lamp that I can tell. Condition is good with some minor nicks to the greenery. Height is 6 1/4". The base is 3 1/4" by 4 1/4".
