An exceptionally large 19th. century Italian Majolica charger from the Battaglia factory in Naples. It is painted with a central panel of peasant women bathing a baby in a river. It is in good condition apart from some fritting to the enamels on the rim and it is 62 cms. in diameter.
A fine late 17th. century, Chinese Kang Hsi period, blue and white porcelain vase mounted in bronze as a lamp. It was mounted as an oil lamp in the late 19th. century but has since been converted for electricity. It is 27 ins. high overall.
A very interesting pair of late 18th. century Chinese painted wood carvings of a seated dignitary and his wife. They are painted in natural colours and have beautiful serene looks on their faces The robes are further applied with gesso to give the appearance of thick embroidery. They are 33 cms. high and in very good condition apart from some age wear to the paint.
An amusing cold painted Vienna Bronze model of Puss in Boots. He is seated wearing one long red boot whilst diligently polishing the other with a brush. He has the Bergman stamp to his bottom and is 7 cms. high.
An unusual 19th. century Chinese Porcelain Reticulated Bottle Vase with a decoration of embossed dignitaries and gods on a pierced background of clouds with a coiled dragon around the neck. It is in famille verte palette and in perfect condition. It has a reign mark to the base and it is 35 cms. high.
A good 19th. century Chinese hardwood carving of two Dogs. One has a puppy on it's back and they have inlaid glass eyes. There is a small crack to the base as can be seen in the photograph but it is otherwise in good condition. It is 33 cms. high.
A large late 18th./early 19th. Century Chinese Cloisonne Panel. The scene is of a temple amongst trees with mountains in the background and a lake with water lilies in the foreground. It is framed with a gilt copper surround. It is in good condition and measures 47.5 by 38.5 cms.
