A late 19th. century Japanese Hirado Jar and Cover painted with a continuous scene of gentlemen in a garden consulting a sage. It is in very good condition and is 8 ins.( 20.3 cms.) high overall.
A kangxi period Chinese Barber's Bowl painted in the imari palette. It is in perfect condition and measures 13 1/2 ins.(34.3 cms.)acroos the widest part.
A good Ming Bronze figure of a seated Guanyin with a fine dark brown patina. She is 11 ins.(31 cms.) high and there are two small losses to her headdress as can be seen in the photograph. Otherwise she is in very good condition.
An unusual late 19th. century miniature Japanese Cloisonne 4 fold Screen. Each panel has different depictions of birds amongst flowers and streams on a black background. The reverse has a stylised scrollwork of foliage. The four panels are contained in a gilt metal frame. It is in perfect condition and each panel measures 15 by 6.7 cms. including the frame.
A very amusing 19th. century Japanese smoking set. The tobacco pouch is formed from a baby turtle shell and the pipe holder is fashioned from a piece of stag horn. The pipe's mouthpiece and bowl are silver with gold enhancements. There is a label from the Stringer collection with a number. The turtle shell measures 3 1/2 by 5 ins. and the pipe and holder are 8 ins. long.
A good 18th. century pale celadon green Jade two handled Bowl with a carved scrollwork decoration to the exterior. It is in good condition and has a diameter of 8.3 cms. and a height of 4.7 cms. The width across the handles is 13.7 cms.
A beautifully carved Chinese late 18th./ early 19th. century Ivory Medicine Lady. There is some age cracking but the ivory carving is intact. She is 18.5 cms. long.
An unusual pair of Chinese 19th. century powder blue double gourd vases with six character Jiajing marks to the necks. They are in perfect condition and are 26.5 cms. high.
