A rare Chinese Export soup plate with a European mythological scene from the same service as the previous lot. It shows "The Judgement of Paris" whereby the handsome shepherd, Paris, is offering the golden apple to the Goddess Aphrodite whilst her two sisters, Hera and Athena, look on and the mischievous cupid pulls her robe aside. It dates from about 1745 and is in perfect condition and has a diameter of 9 ins.(22.8 cms.)

A rare Chinese Export plate painted with a European mythological subject. The scene is of "The Judgement of Paris." A beautifully decorated Chinese Spill Vase with a Yung Chen mark to the base. The painting is of 8 five-clawed dragons in different colours swimming around a central orange dragon holding a fiery pearl. The white background is decorated in scraffiato as the waves in the sea. It has a fine hairline crack running from the bottom of the orange dragon to the bottom of the green dragon as can be seen in the photographs but is nevertheless a wonderful piece of porcelain. It is 28.5 cms. tall.
